Pere CaminalWelcome to my site. My name is Pere Caminal Magrans. I am a researcher at the B2SLab. This lab belongs to the Centre de Recerca en Enginyeria Biomèdica (Biomedical Engineering Research Center, CREB) at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC).

At B2SLab, we are trying to mix Bioinformatics and biomedical signal processing. We have a large expertise in the modeling of risk prediction in the clinical environment. Current research interests are focused on the joint analysis of genetic and physiological signals in several areas (e.g. Cardiac Risk Assessment, Anesthesia Depth Assessment).

Teaching

I teach Automatic Control of Dynamic Systems at the School of Industrial Engineering of Barcelona (ETSEIB) of the UPC. The ETSEIB combines its long-standing tradition with its endeavours to bring about renewal and continuous improvement. This has made it one of the best schools of engineering in Spain and it enjoys an excellent reputation on the international stage. The School has close ties with industry, the financial sector and local businesses, which it complements with its efforts to secure international outreach and recognition.
